How our Competitions Work

Competitions are held on 1 mile strips of sandy beaches, with prizes buried up to 6" deep

With a maximum of 60 detectorists.

Competition Dates

Free to Enter Metal Detecting Competition, Sat 7th September 2024

to be held near Clacton on Sea, Essex on a 1 mile stretch of sand

Free Entry

You must be registered to enter, use the form at the bottom of the page.

To start at 10am on Saturday the 7th of September 2024 and will run until enough tokens are found enabling us to hold the Main Event.

Registered entrants will be emailed on the morning of the 7th September giving the exact beach location.

Your targets will be tokens which allow finders entry to our main event.

3 of the 100 tokens will reward the detectorist`s with a 1g brand new fully certificated Gold Bar Worth over £75.00 each.

100 entry tokens will be buried within a 1 mile stretch of sand, the first 60 tokens found will have the chance to enter our main event.

There is no commitment to enter the Main Event, you may just be looking for the Gold bars but you must be registered so we can inform you of the stretch of beach we are holding the event.

Photo proof of your find will be required along with the token`s unique serial number.

The Main Event

Sunday 29th September 2024

to be held near Clacton on Sea, Essex on a 1 mile stretch of sand between the hours of 9am & 3pm.

Prize presentation will be held at 4pm.

Only detectorists who found a token in the Free to Enter competition may enter (details above).

£60.00 Entry Fee per detector, with a maximum of 60 detectorists.

Prizes are -

Somewhere along a 1 mile stretch of beach near Clacton on Sea from Sunday 2nd of June 2024, you will find tokens with an etched cork decal stuck to them.

They are worth what we have etched onto them and can be redeemed by contacting us through the Contact Form below, payments will be paid via PayPal or direct bank transfer.

Photo proof of your find will be required along with the tokens unique serial number.

Just to make it a bit harder there are also numerous blanks with the wording Win Gold Bars etched on to them, they are only worth face value of the coins.

Below is a 4 mile beach line we will be using, but the 1 mile stretch is secret for now, you can get the exact 1 mile stretch emailed to you by filling the Contact Form.

At last, it has taken a week but someone has found a £5.00 token, Colin found the token on the top of the sand, eyes only, no detector, the rest of them are still out there so get hunting.
